Welcome to the official Mommy At Heart® blog. We are so happy you are here and tuning in as we prepare for our launch in mid-June. Mommy At Heart was founded in the Spring of 2011 to connect mothers around America with the best charities and non-profits in the world. We believe that the majority of businesses in America have lost touch with the true purpose and meaning of life—to love and support others. Through our efforts we plan to raise thousands of dollars for worthy causes. As we grow as a company with you, we plan to push our donations into the hundreds of thousands.
Our Supporters & Community: We have ambitions to partner with the most powerful force in our country, the American mother. We plan to do so by offering comfortable t-shirts with designs that relate to the everyday joys and hardships of being a mommy.
Our Donations: Every month we will partner with a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The “501(c)(3)” simply means that the IRS has approved the non-profits as tax exempt, charitable organizations. These organizations support causes including but not limited to women’s health, education, human rights, clean water, and animal cruelty.
Transparency: For every shirt sold on our website, we will donate $5.00 directly to our partnering organization. This $5.00 donation does not include any hidden fees such as administrative costs, marketing costs, or salary for our staff. Your $5.00 donation is guaranteed to reach the cause and we take pride in this high level of transparency. We collect your $5.00 donations throughout the month and then literally write a check to support the cause on the last day of the month.
Our Product: Our shirts are made in sweatshop free workshops. The shirts we print on are supplied by Anvil whose international workshops are audited and certified by the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (“WRAP”). WRAP is an internationally recognized social accreditation that ensures that our shirts are not manufactured by children, human slaves, and oppressed labor forces.
Shipping Times: After you place an order with us we will ship your order out the next morning. Providing an excellent shopping experience is one of our highest priorities and we guarantee that you product will arrive quick and safe. When you pay with PayPal, we will never see your credit card and bank numbers. Your financial information stays safe. The only information PayPal submits to us is your shipping address.
